Buckingham Palace with Ryan!!!
Hello everybody!! So Ryan got here last night, he was pooped I was pooped so we just hung out here at the flat. Today I spent the morning in class and then got home and headed off on the streets of London with Ryan to show him a bit of the city. We walked to Leicester Square, which is where there are a bunch of theatres, restaurants, and shops. From there we walked through St. James Park, which the the beautiful park right outside of Buckingham Palace, and then made our way to the palace itself. We questioned whether we were actually at Buckingham Palace for a few minutes haha but eventually we figured out that we had ventured to the right place, took a few touristy pictures and continued walking on. We tried so hard to take goofy pictures next to the guards, but failed and were seriously contemplating running through the gates that clearly said "NO ENTRY" just to get our picture, but decided that taking pictures from afar would be a better bet :) From Buckingham Palace we walked to Trafalgar Square, which is a big huge square in the middle of the city with an amazing view of the streets and Big Ben. From there we walked back home and have spent the rest of the night hanging out here. Miss you all so much and wish you could be here to spend it with us!!! xoxox Britt
